Jerri Banks, owner of Life on the Road Recruiting & Transportation Services LLC and Founder of LOTR Recruiting University, is a 24-year veteran in the transportation industry. With a background in training facilitation, conference speaking, corporate sales, customer service and operations management; her career spans across commercial/private aviation and the trucking industry. Through her extensive knowledge of sales, building relationships and customer service, Jerri and her team of Independent Contractor experts have successfully placed hundreds of drivers with dozens of carriers across the U.S. She is passionate about helping individuals and companies in the trucking industry fill their toolbox with the strategies and skills needed to hire qualified drivers and create the systems needed to run a successful business. Jerri is also the Vice President of the SHE Trucking Foundation Inc., a founding member of the FMCSA's Women of Trucking Advisory Board and has been an Achieve Global Certified Training Facilitator since 2009.

  • Who is a good fit for recruiting under the LOTR umbrella?

    Recruiting under the LOTR Recruiting umbrella is a good fit for the following individuals and organizations: (but not limited to); 1.) Individuals looking to start a truck driver recruitment agency 2.) Individuals that need an already established system, driver database and trucking company clients 3.) Current truck driver recruiters that have hit a wall in adding new trucking company clients 4.) Recruiters outside of the transportation industry looking to add truck driver recruiting to their current business model 5.) Truck Drivers looking to learn how to cross over into driver recruiting

  • What are the next steps after I purchase the course?

    A member of our team will reach out to you within 14 business days from the purchase of your course to set up a 1 hour strategy session and discuss next steps. At that time, you will receive access to a separate course that is Exclusive to LOTR Recruiters only and you will be required to attend a 1-2 week virtual Intensive training class. All recruiters will be required to sign a contract, non-compete and confidentiality agreement (NDA).

  • How do I get paid and what is the earning potential as a Truck Driver Recruiter?

    Contract Truck Driver Recruiters at LOTR Recruiting are paid based on a price per driver rate. While rates fluctuate, there are tiers according to the number of hires that you have: Tier 1 ranges from $150-$650 per hire. Once you elevate to Tier 2 (after 25 hires), driver hires range from $270-$1080. Again, this rate fluctuates depending on the current truck driver hiring market and what carriers are paying per driver. The earning potential as a Truck Driver Recruiter is unlimited. The only caps are the caps that you place on yourself. Monthly Bonuses are available once required minimum hires are met.

  • How and where do I find drivers?

    LOTR Recruiters will be taught our methods for finding drivers and have access to LOTR Recruiting leads (providing quotas are being met)

  • Is there a minium number of drivers that I have to hire each month?

    There are monthly hiring quotas that must be met to remain under the LOTR Recruiting umbrella and continue utilizing our systems, leads and software. Once training has completed (month one), failure to maintain at least two hires per month for two consecutive months will remove your company from operating under the LOTR Recruiting umbrella. Hiring quotas increase to four per month after Month three.
